Data collection, modelling approaches and application fields for urban commercial transport models
Urban freight data and modeling are important because
- Single measurements need to be fostered and extrapolated by model calculations
- Transport models allow a quantitative analysis of effects of measures on the transport system
- Full (incl. freight) urban transport models deliver basis input for dedicated models in the area of noise assessment and the assessment of air pollution (NO2, PM10).
